In holistic nutrition we consider various external and internal factors that may affect your health. To improve physical health, it is important to consider the state of mind, stress load, emotional state, diet, lifestyle, sleep hygiene and exercise, among others, as they are all connected. As a holistic therapist, I take all these aspects into consideration to look for the root cause of your discomfort and recommend changes in your habits that are more beneficial to your body's needs.

Hello! My name is Sofia, and I´m a Holistic Nutritionist.
In my private practice I help clients regain their state of health and well-being through food recommendations. We can work on preventive nutrition, reducing or eliminating gastrointestinal tract discomfort, blood sugar imbalances, symptoms caused by stress, hormonal imbalances, improvement of sleep quality and more. We do this through minimally invasive and subtle protocols such as dietary recommendations, supplements, herbs, and positive changes in your lifestyle. My job is to find what foods can be of benefit to you in the short and long term that will empower you to take control of your health.

Services

Initial session
In our first session we discuss your goals, health history and current complaints in detail. We will map out your goals and arrange them by priority. We will also talk about your current diet, preferences, habits, and lifestyle. You are the expert in this session! The purpose of this initial session is to understand your complaints and goals, perform an analysis and create an individualized plan. If you have no idea what your goals are, don't worry, together we will create them so that they feel achievable and true to you.

Health plan
In the second session I will introduce you to the nutrition, lifestyle, and supplement interventions that I developed according to your needs. I will start by addressing the possible root causes of our concerns and show you the overview of the Plan and Strategy. It includes all the phases that we will go through to heal from the inside out. I will show you the recommendations for the first phase of the plan and explain the purpose of each one of them. I will give you food, micronutrient and herbal supplementation recommendations, lifestyle recommendations, meal ideas, and recipes.

Follow-up session
During the third session we will review your goals and provide more tools to achieve your health goals such as, techniques to manage stress, ideas to prepare your meals for the week, habits to eliminate toxic load, education of the elimination pathways, ways to optimize sleep, identifying an appropriate exercise for you and more. Based on the progress achieved with the protocol I will add recommendations. These recommendations are personalized since they are part of the health plan created with the analysis of your symptoms and their association to the probable cause.
The purpose of this session is to monitor progress, give support, expand your education in the type of diet that is beneficial for you, and adjust your plan accordingly.

Follow-up sessions “à la carte”
Based on the progress you made in the first phase, we modify and incorporate new recommendations that will lead you to your final goals. To heal and obtain long-term results, it is important to build a plan with strong foundations. In other words, in phase 1 we start by eliminating foods and habits that are not benefiting you. Once we remove these "health obstacles" in phase 2 we incorporate food, supplements and habits that enhance your body´s innate ability to heal. Follow-up consultations focus on phase 2 and beyond.
